Just this summer, my family and I had the chance to get hold of a Shengen visa and to maximize the trip, we booked for Paris-Germany-Switzerland-Italy tour. We would have wanted to add more because every country is just a train away but time and budget limits us to four countries and 7 cities. From Paris, it was a breather to see Germany, Frankfurt to be exact. Food is cheaper, streets are cleaner and weather is colder. We’ve seen the famous Romer, Kaiserdom (Emperor’s Cathedral), Opera House and Archaeological Garden, experienced the Maine River Cruise, tasted true German sausages, and did shopping the German way. Unfortunately, schedule permitted us to stay there for 3 days and 2 nights only. We would have wanted to see other cities but we really have to leave for Switzerland at that time. With this, my husband and I agreed that we’ll be back to Germany as soon as possible.

And now that Christmas is fast approaching, my husband and I thought that it would be the best opportunity to see Germany again. So what I am doing lately, aside from getting an airline booking, is to find a cheap but quality Germany holiday rentals. And since we’re visiting just one country, we plan to go to as much cities as we can. So far we have included Berlin, Hamburg, Heidelberg, Dresded and of course Munich. I have already found the perfect Munich holiday rentals. I hope I could find the same with the other cities soon.

I can’t wait to experience Christmas in Germany and live like Germans do. I am so looking forward to it that now I am learning a few German words and reading books on Germany’s tourism. I have also purchased winter clothes because I am anticipating a white Christmas.
